- Dated actress Ione Skye.
- His great grandfather, Anton Kiedis, was Lithuanian, and his father's mother has some Mohican Blood.
- Is a vegetarian.
- Anthony met the Dalai Lama during a trip in India at the end of 1996.
- In the year 1997 the band's touring had to be cancelled after he broke his wrist and his arm in many places in a serious motorbike accident when a car suddenly pulled a U-turn.

- Most of the songs on the band's 2002 album, 'By The Way', were written about his ex-girlfriend, fashion designer Yohanna Logan.
