Biography
Kevin's first dream was to be a cartoonist, but in later years decided to go to stage. Trained in Chicago, he first appeared in 1986's Peggy Sue Got Married (1986). He has since then appeared in over 30 films and ABC's short-lived "Gideon's Crossing" (2000). He most recently appeared in 'Stephen Sommer' 's (with whom he also appeared in The Mummy (1999) and Deep Rising (1998)) Van Helsing (2004), as Igor.
Trained for the stage at DePaul/Goodman School of Drama.
Often appears in Stephen Sommers's movies.
He is the son of Patricia Connelly, a retired Chicago teacher, and James O'Connor, a retired Chicago Policeman.
In Van Helsing (2004) he plays Dr. Frankenstein's assistant Igor. He was also in Gods and Monsters (1998), the film about James Whale (director of the classic Frankenstein movies Frankenstein (1931) & Bride of Frankenstein (1935)), appearing alongside Brendan Fraser, his co-star in The Mummy (1999).
