- His cousin, Jarell Houston (known as J Boog), is a member of the group B2K who was discovered by IMX's manager Chris Stokes.
- In 1999, the group Immature changed its name to Imx.
- Marques is "like" a brother to singer Omarion, they are not biological brothers.
